Sachin 200 Runs in ODI Score
sachin Tendulkar became the first batsman to score a double century in One-Day Internationals, accomplishing the feat in the second one-dayer against South Africa in Gwalior on Wednesday. The master batsman, who holds the record for most runs and centuries in Test (13,447) and one-day (17,398) cricket, scored 200 not out off 147 balls as India amassed 401-3 in 50 overs.
His previous best was an unbeaten 186 against New Zealand , at Hyderabad, in 1999.
Tendulkar, who registered his 46th ODI century in the process, got to 200 with a single off Charl Langeveldt in the final over of the game, having earlier broken the World record for the highest individual innings, of 194, jointly held by Pakistan's Saeed Anwar and Zimbabwe's Charles Coventry.
Anwar rattled up that total against India in May 1997 while Coventry hit 194 not out against Bangladesh last year.
Join us in congratulating the Indian ace on becoming the first man to breach the 200-run mark in 39 years of One-Day Internationals, since its inception in 1971.

Rajavari Chepala Cheruvu Movie Review
A honest cop tries to change the system but ends up on the receiving end due to wily politicians and corrupt officials. How does the cop teach a lesson to all, how does the fish business help him in this aspect. Let us go and see.
Story
The noted politician Srinivas Rao (kota) has a son who throws acid on a pretty girl’s face since she has not accepted his love and goes scot free. But not for long as the honest and a bit unusual Sub Inspector Raja (posani) takes up the case and with his unorthodox approach takes the youngster into custody and gets the truth. Things get difficult for Srinivas Rao when he decides to contest for election but faces stiff opposition from the simple yet charismatic leader Sivaprasad (Giri Babu). Rao tries to use dirty politics and drags Sivaprasad’s family but then Raja intervenes and teaches him a very humiliating lesson. But before Rao could think of the next step, he is killed by his own daughter (zubeda) and son in law (shakeel). The son in law becomes the MLA and he ensures that Raja loses his job, gets him beaten by his men and also does something horrible to Raja’s pregnant wife Sirisha (gaina) who cannot conceive for the rest of her life. Raja decides to get into fishery business and approaches the same villain who is now the MLA for help and with his support, he also gets in touch with the concerned team of government officials (brahmi, M S, kondavalasa, sana, prabhakar, pragati, venu madhav). They all take bribes and grant Raja with the required clearances. The real story then begins with Raja hatching a plan. What he does forms the rest of the tale.
Performances
Posani was his usual self and came up with an energetic performance, he had his usual trademark bouts of madness in his mannerisms and dialogues which forms the highlight of the film. Gaina looked gorgeous and give her sweet face, she has actually done a bold role. Kota made his presence felt. A stunner was Zubeda who oozed out her oomph in the item song and also during few scenes, she has potential. Shakeel was not upto mark. Brahmanandam, Brahmaji, MS, Kondavalasa, Prabhakar, Venu Madhav, Sana, Pragati, Ali and others performed their role as required.
Technical aspects

The dialogues were the main life for the film and it had some sensible stuff and also sleazy stuff. Script was alright but it could have been better, screenplay was average. Music was good for the two songs and the background score was apt. Costumes and art department did their job neatly and editing was something missing at key points. Camera was quite haphazard and it was shaky most of the times.
Director’s portrayal
The director wanted to come up with a thought provoking storyline but then he should have also focused on conveying it to the audience with the right proportion instead of getting extreme on few points. His narrative was good and drove the message perfectly but then there are times when he came up with some really embarrassing and vulgar stuff which makes the audience quite uncomfortable.
Critic’s view
The film is basically trying to put across to the audience that it is the people who are with power and not the politicians. Though the theme is bring about an awareness amongst the viewers and that too with a rather interesting concept, the film fell flat on few key instances like lacking pace during the second half while taking off with a good tempo in the first half. Then, there is also a nudity scene which is actually quite shameful and dragging it for more than three scenes was something not acceptable. The film has got a fair share of eccentric expression, some really censorable dialogues and a good share of entertaining lines too but then this is a treat for the front benchers and those who are used to the Posani flavors, not others.
Verdict
A typical Posani flick

99 Movie Review
Exquisitely, it’s a great weekend for all film buffs who felt like thrown out of kilter sans releases. Gone are those unremarkable Fridays that didn’t bring an entertaining moment for them as ‘99’ kick-starts as a first release after such issues prevailing for a long time.
99 – One shot from century, a mark away from centum or whatever you may perceive it to be as. The film just sways on this line with interesting characterizations delineated. Perhaps, first thing you would like about is the finely established roles – fantabulous casting of performers.
Kudos to filmmakers Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K.!!! They’ve maneuvered with ravishing moments in the film, altho’ brimmed with certain flimsiness in narration. Spinning the best innovative spells – What many filmmakers failed to do have been accomplished by this duo. Of course, the auteurs could’ve spent a little more time in diminishing their amateurish elements. It’s like delaying moments in establishing each character and of course, the fire of thrilling moments ignites merely before minutes to intermission.

Well, just book your tickets, give a break to your cognizance, sit back and relax….
Set at the backdrops of year 1999, the film is centered on two small-time outlaws (Kunal Khemu, Cyrus Broacha). They’re over-the-top dealers of illegal SIM Cards duplication. Their happy lives get entangled with out-and-out hazardous moments once they rob a car and meet an accident. The sorriest part is that the car belongs to a roughneck gangster (Mahesh Manjrekar) to counterbalance with money.
Here protrudes the roller-coaster thriller ride that takes you straight onto the busiest streets of Mumbai and
Makers of this film geared up with a flamboyant debut directorial in ‘Flavors’ (Telugu) and they’ve proved with the same best results in ‘99’. Indeed, the makers have churned their films with three ducky vistas ‘Funny, Intelligent and Stylish’… ‘99’ has these traits in equal ratios.

But really, there’s something that gets everyone more bemused about few filmmakers of this sort. They drop interesting ideas on their papers, but things get transformed as mediocre when they’re on the screens. Why do they plan for very long duration? Although, this comedy thriller has more enjoyable parts, you’ll start looking here-n-there and certainly find few yawning, looking at the watches. Nonetheless to these degrading factors, fantastic characters diminish them and that’s a smart little move by makers. Be it these criminals (Kunal and Cyrus) or the serious match fixer (Vinod Khanna), they get straight under the skin of personations. Soha Ali Khan is much most hunky-dory on her show. Boman Irani leaps with a commendable performance and the duo-filmmakers should’ve established his image more delicately. Simone Singh and Amit Mistry have done justice to their roles.
Getting on with technical aspects, music is a big letdown on both the vistas of Background Score and Songs. On the contrastive grounds, Rajeev’s camera works on exotic locations of Mumbai and lanes of
Right on complete rating, ‘99’ scores same as its title and would have done better if certain diminishing elements were avoided. Well it’s a good attempt by duo filmmakers that’s sure to keep audiences entertained.

Sarvam Movie Review
Director Vishnuvardhan seems to have mastered the art of making a trendy, sophisticated and chic film. The young film-maker often led his films do all the talking. After touching the peak in ‘Billa’, Vishnu is out to face the litmus test with ‘Sarvam’. With his trusted lieutenant Arya by his side and the likes of cinematographer Nirav Shah and music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja around, he has come up with a movie that certainly lives up to his reputation.
Vishnu has tried a marriage between commercial and real cinema in ‘Sarvam’ and seems to have succeeded fairly. Though the storyline seems to be familiar, yet with his typical visual narration, he walks away with all honours. As like his other films, Vishnuvardhan has blended romance and action at right mix.
A convincing thriller is a rarity in Tamil cinema. Vishnu has taken it in his stride and rendered a movie that is convincing and makes the audience glued to their seats. What more, he has struck to his task without deviating from the storyline.
Arya and Vishnuvardhan share a good rapport as was evident in their previous film – ‘Arindhum Ariyamalum’ and ‘Pattiyal’. With ‘Sarvam’, the duo seems to have struck a hat-trick. Polished by Bala in ‘Naan Kadavul’, Arya comes across as a cool, suave architect who runs behind Trisha in the second half and goes hammer and tongs flexing his muscles to save the life of a young innocent child.
Trisha is gorgeous and as fresh as an apple. She fits the role of a medical practitioner in love with Arya. The only disappointment is that she fades away from the story very quick. Unfortunately she hogs very little space on screen.

JD Chakravarthy, who sizzled the screen in Tollywood, plays an interesting role. However the lack of conviction in narrating his character robs away the sheen from his character. Malayalam actor Indrajith makes his debut in Kollywood playing a desperate father running from pillar to post for his son.
Karthik (Arya), a cool suave architect comes across a young doctor Sandhya (Trisha) at a Kart track. He falls for her instantly. Romance blossoms. Tragedy strikes in Karthik’s life when a kite snatches Trisha’s life. Desperate attempts to save Sandhya who is strangled by the thread of the kite ends in vain. However her heart gets transplanted for a young boy Imman (Rohan), son of Naushad (Indrajith).
A flashback reveals that Naushad had run over a football coach Eashwar’s (JD Chakravarthy) wife. He is keen to take revenge on Naushad by plotting to kill his son. Arya develops a good rapport with the child after his ladylove’s heart is transplanted to him.
Coming to know of Eashwar’s motive, Karthik steps in to save the kid. What happens then forms the climax.
Vishnuvardhan deserves all credit for making it stylish from the first frame. Nirav Shah’s lens does all the magic capturing thrilling moments well. He captures the various locales of Chennai, Rajasthan and forest lands well. Yuvan’s brisk re-recording towards the second half is praiseworthy.
On the whole, Sarvam, produced by Ayngaran International, is a visual delight that is sure to thrill the audience.

Rajadhi Raja Movie Review
"Does glamour sell in Kollywood? Producer - director Sakthi Chidambaram firmly believes so. His heart seems to beat for an overdose of glamour, laced with commercial masala elements. ‘Rajadhi Raja’ starring Larencce Raghavendra and a bunch of five heroines is an attempt by Sakthi Chidambaram in that direction."
The movie is an extension of his earlier films which were predominantly 'commercial cocktails'. Sakthi Chidambaram has tried to woo front-benchers with Rajadhi Raja, which has crass dialogues from the word go. There is action, romance and bloodshed too besides half-a-dozen racy songs too.
The director could have avoided double entendre dialogues which makes one squirm in their seats. Though Censor had muted several scenes, still many had still escaped their scissors.

Raja (Larencce), a native of Coutrallam, is a happy-go-lucky-youngster. Tragedy strike his life when his father loses his hand when a doctor in an inebriated condition operates on him. As expected his father is gagged by cops and lawyers. They assault him. In his death bed, his father gets a promise that he would make his three brothers into a cop, lawyer and doctor. Though Raja realises his mission, he falls for his own acts. The trio (who become doctor, policeman and a lawyer) gang up with a baddie Shyla (Mumtaz), a gangster, who rises to become a Minister. It is up to Raja to end their atrocities and teach them a lesson. In between, Raja comes across young women (Snigdha, Kamna Jethmalani and Meenakshi) and sings foot-tapping romantic duets with them.
The story is oft-repeated in Tamil cinema, but Sakthi Chidambaram has opted to give it a local flavour. The comedy and glamour are laced throughout the script only to appease the front-benchers, but they leave a bad taste in mouth.
Larencce Raghavendra has tried to imitate Rajinikanth, while Mumtaz hogs limelight playing a dreaded gangster. She fits the role like T. Karunaas hogs enough screen space coming all through the film with Lawrence. The rest of the heroines serve the purpose of oozing glamour. Karunaas, who makes his foray as music composer with ‘Rajadhi Raja’, has come up with songs that are loud (especially the remix number “Elandha Pazham”).
All said, ‘Rajadhi Raja’ is like a king sans his crown.
